The fireside talk with Dr. Detlef Zerfowski, Vice President Excellence Engineering of ETAS GmbH, on August 4th, 2025 was a complete success.
On August 4th, 2025, the graduate school "UpGrade Mobility" hosted an engaging fireside talk featuring Dr. Detlef Zerfowski, ETAS GmbH. The event provided a unique opportunity for members of the graduate school to interact with the distinguished guest in a relaxed and informal setting.
Moderated by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eric Sax , the scientific speaker of the graduate school, the discussion began with Zerfowskis career and delved into his experiences as an engineer at Robert Bosch GmbH and later at ETAS GmbH which is a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. The conversation ranged from his experiences abroad to his current position as Vice President.
Current topics such as the challenges facing the automotive industry with regard to software-defined vehicles were discussed. The UGM members also gained an insight into corporate life and how best to overcome challenges within a corporation. The graduate school thanks Mr Zerfowski for this wonderful and personal fireside talk and sharing his experiences in many pracitcal examples.
